The apparent and direct fact that Christ from scripture requests a form of profound affection focused on the poor is what has always made Christianity rather a scandalous religion: appealing to the general public, but due to its natural unconventionality demanding to be restrained. In the fifties it was controlled by dilution – Protestantism was so widespread that it essentially blessed current circumstances.
A Struggle for the Highest of Us
So I have been heartened to witness the persistent defiance regarding Trump arise during the previous year.
